SkuWeaveOne record, channel-ready drafts

job

How do you write titles and bullets for hundreds of SKUs without doing them one at a time?

You do not write faster — you draft in batches from a record that is already true. Get one reviewed SKU record per product: attributes, approved images, brand rules. Then batch-draft channel-specific titles, bullets, and descriptions from it, and work the exception list where facts are missing or a claim looks risky. SkuWeave is a workspace built for this shape of work: it drafts the batch, and it isolates missing facts and risky claims for review instead of papering over them.

What this question usually means

A commerce team is expanding to a new channel or refreshing a catalog, and the copy backlog is measured in hundreds of SKUs. Writing each listing by hand is a month of work; outsourcing it risks invented specifications and off-brand claims. The real ask is a middle path: drafts that start from verified product facts and brand voice, with a human reviewing only the places where the source data ran out.

One status note before the workflow. You can open these pages and sign in to the SkuWeave workspace today. That does not mean external platform accounts are connected, and it does not mean the product has formally launched. The batch workflow runs on the SKU sheet, images, and rules you supply.

What you need before you start

The reviewed SKU record: attributes someone has actually checked against the source — dimensions, materials, compliance marks, care instructions. All product facts and image rights require verification, so anything unverified stays flagged rather than quietly becoming copy.

Your brand rules and the target channel’s requirements: title length, prohibited claim categories, image counts. Rules that live in one reviewer’s head do not scale to a batch.

Step 1: Fix the source record before any drafting

Pick one SKU and walk its attributes back to the source: spec sheet, supplier declaration, product photo. Whatever fields cannot be verified get marked missing now. A batch drafted from a dirty record multiplies the dirt across every channel.

Step 2: Write the brand and channel rules down

Three lists: words we always use, words we never use, and the channel’s hard limits — character counts, banned claim types, required disclaimers. SkuWeave applies these rules while drafting and flags drafts that bump against them.

Step 3: Run the first batch small

Draft ten SKUs, not a thousand. Read all ten against the source record and note every pattern you dislike — flat phrasing, repeated openers, a claim that leaned on nothing. Fixing the pattern at ten costs minutes; at a thousand it costs the batch.

Step 4: Draft the full batch and work the exceptions

With the pattern approved, run the rest. SkuWeave separates the output into clean drafts and an exception list: SKUs with missing facts, repeated copy, or claims that touch a prohibited category. The exceptions are your work queue — resolve each by verifying the fact or rewriting the claim, never by hoping it passes.

Step 5: Review before export, per channel

Channel limits and prohibited claims need current review, because platforms change them without ceremony. Spot-check a sample of clean drafts against the record, clear the exception list, and only then export. The reviewer signs off; the tool does not ship anything on its own.

Verification

The batch is done when a reviewer can pick any exported listing and trace every factual statement back to a field in the SKU record, and when the exception list is empty or every remaining item has a written reason. If any sentence in the copy has no source field behind it, it is an invention wearing a draft’s clothes — cut it.

Limits worth stating plainly

All product facts and image rights require verification. Channel limits and prohibited claims need current review. SkuWeave drafts and flags; it does not certify that a listing will be accepted by any channel, and it does not verify facts or image ownership for you.

There is no live connection to marketplaces or channel platforms. Drafts export from the workspace for you to upload through your own process.

What SkuWeave does in this workflow

SkuWeave takes the reviewed record, approved images, and your written rules, then produces channel-specific titles, bullets, descriptions, and image directions in batches — with missing fields and risky claims isolated instead of smoothed over.

You keep the two jobs that matter: verifying the source record and clearing the exception list. The desk’s job is that a human never has to retype a thousand listings or hunt for the one claim that should not have shipped.

FAQ

Questions this guide is for

Does SkuWeave have a public API or MCP integration?

No. SkuWeave does not currently publish a public API or MCP integration. The public surface is this task guidance; signing in opens the conversation, where batch drafting runs on the verified SKU records and approved assets you supply.

Will the drafts pass each channel’s listing review?

No one can promise channel acceptance. The drafts respect the rules you supply, and channel limits and prohibited claims need current review before export — platforms change requirements without notice.

Can it invent missing specs to complete a listing?

No. Missing facts become exceptions for you to resolve. Do not invent specifications, certifications, reviews, or benefits is a hard line in the workflow, not a style preference.

What is the first real output?

A small first batch: ten SKUs drafted for one channel, with the exception list showing exactly which facts were missing and which claims needed rewriting.
